The Three Guiding Concepts

  • Providing Tools – we provide teenagers with a lifelong "Toolbox" (e.g. team work, interpersonal communication, and perseverance) that has an essential and lasting value, and that will aid them at every stage of their lives, through diverse experiences.

  • Creating a Group of Equals – a significant peer group and a sense of belonging are central needs for people in general, and for teenagers in particular. Our groups provide teenagers with a supportive place to develop and acquire social tools and skills, while gaining a sense of social and emotional security.

  • Social Responsibility and Involvement – as a means of developing a sense of self-efficacy and as a civic value we try and live up to, we wish to encourage the teenagers to take responsibility for their surroundings and be leaders in their community.
